Elle Roark is a photographer, yoga teacher, and animal activist focusing her work on the vast beauty of the natural world. Elle travels to the far flung corners of the world to capture the beauty of these places. Whether she is chasing down the African Wild Dogs in Zimbabwe or hiking in the dense forests of Congo seeking out the mountain gorillas, her prime motivation is to capture their essence.
Elle hopes to inspire others to protect the last remaining wild places through her photography. To that end she travels to threatened habitats in order to photograph the inhabitants, their struggles and their victories.
